It didn't go so well when we tried to before. [for reference: see the blank slate world] But with someone chosen as the god in charge, we can keep everyone on task.
Can you tell me what your hesitations are about the others? [ it may be obvious with someone like Ruin, but Madoka is interested in what Sincerity thinks the drawbacks are for gods like Piety and Love. ]
Maybe Ambition wouldn't be so bad if she had some positive influence in her life. Problem is? She's got none of that, and she only knows how to make herself feel better by tearing other people down. She hangs around Cunning and Disorder all the time, and they're... yikes.
Cunning's hard to get a read on. He's real into Disorder, if you know what I-- [Sincerity suddenly realizes how young Madoka is and clams up.] Uuuuh, I didn't say that. But he's a tricky one. There's, like, two meanings to everything he says. Sometimes three!
[ Sincerity must mean... Romance!!!!! Madoka is surprised to hear that Ambition gets along with Disorder. Wouldn't ambitious people want to overcome disorder...? Just how much do these guys live up to their names...? ]
Scariest women I have ever met. [Sincerity can say that upfront.] I steer as clear from them as I can, because who wants to be stabbed in my sleep? Not this boy!
[yikes.]
They've both got major anger issues. Ruin hides it better with a cutesy act, but she's rotten to the core. Disorder could probably use her skills for good if she really wanted to, but I get the feeling she doesn't want to.
They're much nicer. Love is a total sweetheart, and totally cute to boot! I'd love to dress her up one of these days. The thing is, she's really young, and while she means well, she's... she's got what you might call a bleeding heart. I think she'd try hard but get overwhelmed.
[Overall, though? Sincerity's impression of Love is positive.]
Fortune is harder to get a read on. She and I haven't really talked all that much.
Merriment's a real fun guy! [Is that a joke? It might be a joke, but also, it's the truth.] He'd like you a lot, I think. You should go say hi when you get the chance.
[...a beat.]
Oh, but don't go ditching me for him!
[Sincerity is an idiot.]
Indulgence... man, that guy knows how to party. If you're looking for a good time, he's your guy. Sure, he's a little conceited, but you can't really blame him. The guy's royalty! ...or that's what he's been telling everyone, anyway. Not sure I really believe it, but he sure seems to.
Oh, those two are real cute. Sweet, too. So young though. [...realizing that Madoka, too, is pretty young, he follows up with--] Not that that's a bad thing, but one of 'em lacks much perspective, and the other means well and has some experience, but isn't real good at asserting himself.
It's hard to imagine either of them ruling over everyone.
[ But she nods, because as much as she likes that, it's not exactly a good leadership trait. Then she gives a shallow bow in gratitude for all the answers. ]
... I think that's enough for me. And... I think I made the right choice.

[ Because a world that already has this architecture and stuff is... That's not how things work!! Usually!! But who is she to judge!!! ]

[there's a reason you can't get down the stairs and through the clouds outside the temple...]

Is there a reason that you can't all rule together?

How about... Ambition and Cunning?

[Sincerity chuckles, letting out a little sigh.]

Then what about... Disorder and Ruin?

[yikes.]

Oh, that makes sense...
Umm. Merriment and Indulgence?

... Were you all people, before this? Did you have different names and lives?

That's a secret for now, Madoka-chan.
[which probably means that's a yes]

[ She won't push it. ]
... Justice and Piety?

[Sincerity reaches over to pat her on the shoulder.]
Let's win this together.
