[When Madoka enters the parlor, she'll be greeted by a few things. First and foremost she'll find a set-up of two plush and comfortable chairs surrounding a table. The table has place settings for two, tea cups in-place along with a decadent arrangement of chocolates and little pastries. There's also a fresh vase of roses for ambiance, and in between the door and the table is a masked figure with a hand on their hip as they extend their hand to her.]
Welcome, Princess Kaname. [The tone is light and easygoing.] Will you do me the honor of joining me for a while?
[And if Madoka looks, she'll find her offering rose in its own small glass separated from the rest, given its own special place on the table.]
A young lady with a heart so elegant would be nothing less, I assure you. [She can take his hand, or she can tell him to Not. Either way he won't be offended and remains poised and waiting for her to act. On the other hand, he looks over his shoulder.]
I hope this is to your liking. We have other treats if you'd prefer something else.
[Well. Here they are in the courtyard. Sincerity is flitting around the statues and plants, searching for cute flowers to pick - he offers a bundle of them for Madoka as she approaches.]
[Indulgence is in the high school, at the auditorium, evidently enjoying the last day of having a free stage. Madoka's gift offering is next to him, and he beckons her forward when she enters the room.]
I gotta say, I'm surprised--and impressed. I didn't expect anyone to get me anything when they didn't have to.
[That's surprising. It's surprising to get a letter, but when Madoka arrives she'll find that Cunning is sitting at a table by himself at the dining pavilion in the east wing, arms folded on the tabletop and chin resting on them to wait. As she approaches, he doesn't move but waits until she's close enough to speak.]
...you really did it then. [Shortcake. He's not surprised by that, at least. He's just curious.]
[ She comes to sit across from him, carrying a thermos of tea and a box with her decent attempt at shortcake! She sets them both down, and pours the tea into cups for both of them. ]
I found a recipe book. Um, mine doesn't look as nice as the ones in bakeries, though. And it might not be as good.
[Like most times, he literally has no idea what to do with Madoka so he just sits up and lets her do that, blinking at her from behind the mask.]
...I'm not sure that matters much, Madoka. Thanks. [It's thoughtful, and yeah, he's taking a peek into that box to see said-shortcake.] They look pretty okay to me.
[Piety's easy to find, considering that he's hosting. Although his face is hidden, there's an easy smile in his voice as he approaches Madoka from across the cobblestones.]
[Ambition, too, is in her wing - she's waiting for Madoka at the restaurant level, sitting at a table for two by a window with a glorious view of the Eiffel Tower. Madoka's flowers are sitting in a vase on the table as a centerpiece.]
It's a good thing you left some of us for the end, isn't it? Otherwise Piety's rule might be hard to follow.
WEEK 1, WEDNESDAY
Welcome, Princess Kaname. [The tone is light and easygoing.] Will you do me the honor of joining me for a while?
[And if Madoka looks, she'll find her offering rose in its own small glass separated from the rest, given its own special place on the table.]

O-oh...! The honor is all mine. I'm not a princess or anything.
[ Is she meant to take his hand? She isn't sure. ]

I hope this is to your liking. We have other treats if you'd prefer something else.
no subject
No, no! I love it! It's really, really cute, and everything looks great.

WEEK 3
Here you are, Madoka-chan. For you.
no subject
[ Madoka accepts the flowers graciously, if not... Guiltily. She hesitates. ]
no subject
...if you're worried about this Sunday, Madoka-chan, don't be. I understand.

I gotta say, I'm surprised--and impressed. I didn't expect anyone to get me anything when they didn't have to.
no subject
It's not much - it's the only thing I remember how to make off the top of my head.
no subject
[Indulgence blasts her with some fingergun action.]
And that's what counts the most to a god like me: heart.

WEEK 6, POST TRIAL
I...I hope you don't mind. I know you've been out here all day, but...I thought maybe it would feel nicer now that it's quiet.
[He hesitates.]
Thank you for sending me a gift.
no subject
I don't mind at all. I... I like it out here. Despite everything.
[ and. ] You're welcome - it was nothing.
no subject
[He fidgets.]
I just, I know it's, um...it's been really scary.

WEEK 7
Hello! Thank you for the offering!
no subject
It feels a little underwhelming, since I just took things from around the temple grounds.
Oh, but, you're welcome - of course.
no subject
Oh, no, not at all. Even just a prayer would suffice; I'm always happy for the company. I'm really happy that you came to see me.

WEEK 7
It's a good thing you left some of us for the end, isn't it? Otherwise Piety's rule might be hard to follow.
no subject
I don't know if I'd call it a good thing. I would almost rather I were struggling to find people I didn't know very well, yet.
no subject
[a beat]
But if you had to break a rule, Piety's probably the best one to break. He's not likely to do anything mean.
