Do you know what's up with this? How come it looks different now that I'm with you? Is that a bad thing?

It's not really a bad thing, it just shows that you've defected. The more often you defect, the less shiny your coin becomes. I guess...it's meant to be a clue, if another competitor finds your coin. They won't know anything about which teams you've been on, but they'll be able to tell if you've been with the same god or how often you may be switching.

Ohhh, I guess that makes sense. I was scared that it was gonna break or something - I know a couple of people who have been swapping around.

[and he'll go to sit with Justice, holding his hands out just so he can hold hands with the baby]

Okay! My other question waaaaas - well, first I wanted to let you know that me joining you was Sasuke-kun's idea.

A world without cruelty, yes. But, in this case, I also mean...a family.

Do you know where your family is, Justice? I don't know - I'm still looking for mine. So I was wondering if you're the same.

[ . . . senri blinks quietly, as if trying to understand such a simple answer.]

Mm? It's just you? [ . . . ] What was your world like - before you became a god?

If I'm being honest...I don't really know that much about my world. I wasn't there for very long, and I didn't see very much of it, or have very many memories. I only remember the place where I was--it was a big facility.

[He lowers his head a little.]

I'm sorry that I don't know much more than that.

That's okay, honey, you don't need to apologize.

[and senri will offer a soft smile - he normally doesn't use this many pet names, but something about this child makes him want to. Justice sounds like such a cold ideal at times, and he doesn't think the boy in front of him is anything like that.]

.... is that why the lab is your room? You know equipment and tech really well?

Yeah. It's the only place that I know. I woke up one day inside of that place, with no memories other than a few things, like my name. Then, by the end of the day...I was here, a god.

[senri hums softly at that, and gives justice's hands a squeeze.]

I talked to Merriment... and he said he doesn't really know if he's the right person to be the leader here. I thought that was a pretty brave thing to admit.

What do you think? Isn't it a big job?

It's a really, really big job. And a super important one, too. That's why...I want to do it. I've never wanted anything else, or cared about anything else as much as this. I feel like...like I just have to.

[His hand tightens around Senri's.]

I'd like that. I'd like that a whooole lot.

.... but I'm just wondering - do you think it'd be easier to have a lot of the gods to support you? I know that Merriment takes really good care of you, and I'm suuuuper grateful to him.

I just... talked with Piety - and I was wondering if there was a way to have... balance? You know, like everyone has different things that they're good at, so it's extra important to all work together?

O-Oh, yes, of course! I'd want their support...I'd want them to help me, because there's still so much I'm learning about...about everything!

[He hesitates, nervous.]

It's just...I don't think they like me. Except for Merriment and Piety. Or, at least, I...don't know how to talk to a lot of them, and some of them just scare me so badly. I don't think they'd ever listen to me, or want to help me.

Hey cutie, do you think there's a way that I could talk to more than one god at once? I think I'd like to let you talk to Beauty or Sincerity with me - and I'd be right there, so you wouldn't have to be scared.

.... I like you all a lot. Every god that I've met has been different, but fun to get along with in another way.

So if it's possible... I'd like you all to be able to rule together. Or find a way to see eye to eye on things.

I think you could. It would just depend on who you asked to be together, and when.

I'm going to try to talk to them too.... but if you want me to help you learn how to talk to people, you can just ask.

I think that's the one thing I'm really good at.
