What do you mean by that? Do my ideals have to line up with the god that I've chosen to stay with, in order for them to win? How do you even qualify that?

It's more like...let's go with, I don't know, Indulgence. Yeah. He's an easy target. So let's say you go with Indulgence, you hear all about his idea for the world, and you don't exactly agree with it. Maybe it's stupid. Maybe you just don't think it's for the best. Even if he wins and you're aligned with him, his vision won't totally work because not everybody believes in it.

What're your thoughts on destiny? The world I want...it's going to be a fair world where people aren't bound by a destiny they not only might not want but might not even know because nobody will tell them. It's going to be a world where higher powers won't ignore people who pray to them or ask for help. I don't believe in that. It's a world where respect is to be earned instead of given out just "because", and where power comes to people who deserve it instead of just being born into it and abusing it.

A world of balance. What's so wrong with that?

Nothing, technically. But Piety said that he wanted a world of balance too. In the end, it seems like you all have the same sort of thing you want... but you also explain it differently to different people.

Three people got three different descriptors of a world from Ruin - who's to say that I'm agreeing to the same thing that you'd be telling Sasuke?

Can't really explain Ruin though. I've been saying pretty much the same thing to the, like, four of you who've asked. Aren't you guys cross-checking all of us?

Any chance you could make this deal with the rest of the gods?

But yeah - that's why I'm asking. Ruin's visions haven't exactly conflicted, but it feels weird that she's not telling the whole story to everyone who asks her.

You ever consider maybe that's just a Ruin thing and not a gods as a whole thing?

I have! I just don't get why.... Is that how she wants to win?

What do you know about her anyway?

I never asked her strategy. She likes me enough but we don't really talk shop like I do with some of the others. [Ruin is still a competitor.] She's okay though. Misguided and a little intense sometimes, but some of her ideals aren't the worst. The execution's off, but whose isn't?

[Hm.] It was her idea to turn this into a killing game though to help us figure out who'll win. It made sense.

Other methods didn't sound as appealing for you?

It's like I told the brat. [Ray.] I'm not out to actively kill people. You think we'd be getting anywhere if everyone was in play and nobody was moving? You need some stakes to make people act, but if you know how to dodge death you can survive. The thing about it is, most places don't believe in rebirth. We're giving you the chance to come back unharmed in the end.

We didn't have to offer that caveat, but it's why some of us agreed with her.

I don't think you needed death to do it. You could've done something else? Items to be stolen? Like if someone finds your coin and breaks it, you're out?

Maybe not. I've never really spoken to her even though she's pretty cute. [Hm.] But she kind of stayed out of everything when we were making plans.

...I'm not cheating on Disorder, relax. Like she doesn't say shit about other guys. [But he's moving on.] ...but no. I can't think of any who really knew her that well. Piety knows all of us, and we've all talked a bunch of times but she never said too much about herself to me. Not sure who she would've told.
