It's just something that happened. There's no reason to be worried about it.

Most Heroic Spirits know what it's like to die anyway.

Hmm... Sort of. Spirits aren't really alive to start with.

A spirit from the Grail is only a copy, if they die they really die. If they're summoned again they don't have memories of the last time they were summoned.

But do they have the same skills and stuff? It sounds complicated and...a little sad, I guess.

They do. Every version of Okita Souji would be the same as any other when they were first created for the War. Their experiences are what makes them different, but only Rulers remember every War they're in.

And you become a Ruler how, exactly? [A beat.] If it's too complicated to explain, that's okay.

A Ruler is somebody who has a story or legend but doesn't have a wish they want granted by the Grail.

Soooo...you could be a Ruler if you wanted?

I don't have that right. I'm here for a wish. Even something like "I want to fight" counts.

Jeanne d'Arc, Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, and Sherlock Holmes are the three most prominent ones.

Is that really a wish instead of just a basic choice? That sounds so complicated.

I don't have much of an opinion on Sherlock.

Maybe it doesn't matter, but why don't you agree? You seem to get along with most people.

He was the one who put the current wish on the grail. He thinks if humanity exists as a concept, that's fine, but he's completely ignoring individual people.

He sounds kind of like a jerk.

Maybe it's a good thing he didn't get the call first. I can't imagine somebody like that here.

Then it's definitely a good thing. But other than that, you're still going to stay strong here and not kill anyone, aren't you? Are things still the same?

I don't want to kill anybody... but I won't let them just kill me either.

Fighting back isn't so bad, you know. I don't want you guys to hurt people if you can help it, but nobody should just take it lying down.

...I really was hoping this game would be one where people didn't behave like this. With the remaining weeks, maybe we'll have a group of people who're more peaceful.
