You and me both, kiddo. That's what a bunch of us are aiming for even if we don't win ourselves. I wouldn't mind not being the leader as long as I knew whoever we chose would take the job seriously.

Who do you think will take it seriously?

...Justice and Piety would do their best, though I'm worried about the rest of the pantheon bowling over them. Love would take her job seriously once she got it, maybe; one of the hardest-working girls I've met. Beauty's grown up, and I think Sincerity stands a chance, too.

...and I guess me, too. Cunning might if he could stop letting his arrogance get in the way. And Ambition needs someone to watch her, but her plans aren't the worst I've heard.

That sounds like most of you would be a good fit for the leader, if it comes to taking it seriously.

It's just a matter of the kinds of worlds you'll each create.

...what kind of world do you want Sieg? What would you like to see?

[heartmunculus]

I want... something where people aren't created to serve one singular purpose. I want them to have the freedom to choose. Sometimes people choose wrong, but I think free will is important. Homunculi... we aren't supposed to have anything like that. We only recognize other options when they're given to us.

... Also if it's possible, nothing that could grant any wish in exchange for lives. It doesn't tend to work out well.

Yeah your whole wish system with the Grail sounds pretty bad. But I didn't know that about homunculi...seems to me you've got plenty of free will of your own here.

Otherwise? That sounds pretty great to me. It also kind of sounds like one of the worlds one of the others wants to design.

It sounds similar to the one Sincerity talked about. Are we thinking of the same god?

"Never should've" is one thing, but you do. And that's really cool. [There's a shake of the head.]

It doesn't surprise me you'd think so since they're pretty alike, but I was thinking of Beauty, too. They both believe in freedom of expression.

They're close friends, aren't they? That makes sense to me.

Yeah, you could say that. They're very much the same kind of person and were always like that even in their old lives.

Sure. I think it makes them happy when more people talk to them anyway, so anything I can do to send people their way...[Shrug.]

That's really nice of you, Sieg. I mean it. [Does Merriment just kind of worry about half of the other gods? Yeah.] What're you thinking of making next?

I was thinking a chocolate-strawberry cake. Most people seem to like that flavor.

It's a good combination of something rich and something sweet. What's not to like?

I liked spending time with the professors in Chaldea for the brief time I was there.
