I... was new to the world back then. This body of mine was meant to be nothing more than a battery. I never should've gained sentience.

I wasn't aware of everything that was happening during the War until later.

If you lived for two months and those two months were all you had, wouldn't you want to remember them? Good or bad?

If those two months sucked? No. I'd want to make better memories in the future.

That's where you and I disagree.

The past is what builds you into the person you become. ... It's the same thing when it comes to worlds.

What does the past have to do with making a world?

Maybe not making one, but for a world that already exists. Earth.

If you change Earth's past, it stops existing.

Maybe this is just the rules of my universe but: If you tamper with the past too much and too often, Earth will simply cease to exist.

And I thought our rules were stupid.

They are stupid, but if those points can be restored Earth comes back like nothing ever happened.

But the time where Earth was missing is still missing. It was like losing a year and some change.

How do you lose an entire year? I can get, like, not remembering a really boring lecture or something...

That's how long it took to restore Earth back to it's proper state.

They were working hard. It just became more difficult to locate the points where the world was wrong as they went further back in time.

Oh. I don't really get that time-travel stuff.
