He told me that he didn't believe you would turn me away, and that the two of you were friends.
[A hum, and:]
...He dislikes the thought of any blood being shed, but he approves of the intent behind my efforts, and asked me to tell you he consents to the loss of a follower for that purpose.
He's right. He's one of the first people that believed in me when we first started this pantheon and...he's a good person. For that reason, actually, he's very against bloodshed. I'm worried about his numbers since they're already low, but if he agreed to this I've gotta trust his judgment.
I am worried about him as well, but... all I can do is try to keep an eye on him, as much as I'm able. I have faith in him despite this.
[A pause, and:]
I have read its description, but you did say it has its own problems. Is there anything you feel I ought to know, or are you referring to the inherent risks that come with being caught out after curfew's fallen?
Mostly just the risks, and the things you might see by being out and about on those nights. I think you're more capable of defending yourself than most people. It's also about knowing where you want to look during those hours.
The last bit is going to be the hardest, I'm certain... there is too much space to cover well in one night, and I doubt that anyone who means to act will let their plans slip so easily. But the only way I will know whether it will work or not is to try.
That's the spirit. [Though...] When you switch to me, I can tell you a little more about things in play. It might make your job a little easier and split the work in half.

[Another bow of his head, there.]
While I expect you can't confirm or deny... I still have to ask if you can tell me whether anyone else is doing the same as I intend to.
[he's going to hope there is, regardless.]

[After a longer pause:]
And-- thank you. As I said, he told me he didn't think you'd reject this, but... I am still grateful for your agreement.
