[hey guess who regrets getting off the desktop right now.]

We're fairly certain they were with Ambition. Two of them we didn't know; the other three all could have been indicated in some way by Ray-kun's code, but working off hints we've gotten and the most likely answer being that he meant two people... we're looking closer at the person most likely to have had an accomplice. That would be Catra, and by extension her friend. Nito-kun knew the alignments of the majority of the participants by the trial, and has been tracking that. We previously thought both might follow Ambition together, but he believes her friend could have been the one who afflicted Narukami-kun with one of Disorder's powers, precisely when we were trying to argue for counting you and Sincerity as innocent and casting suspicion on Ambition. Catra was notably against believing us, and Nito-kun says she's strong enough to have helped get the better of Ray-kun.

... I do not know for certain that it was them, so I don't know if I think it's enough to act on. We may still get more information, I know Nito-kun is outsourcing a bit.

[all of that? that's why he hasn't come by.]

I spent some of my time on the other two we know, as well. One told me Ray-kun was bound to be targeted eventually for his intellect and quickly changed the subject when suspecting Ambition came up, which was a bit suspicious also, but... I don't know. The other was unable or unwilling to give me anything helpful, though I did coerce him into admitting his alignment to me.

Based on Nito-kun's math, the ones who moved should have gone to Sincerity, Love, Disorder, or Justice, I believe? We're following up to find out which ones moved, and to where... we were still missing two, but we knew at the time of the trial that Catra, Ludger-kun, and Qinghua-san should have been with her. The others believe they can at least get the ones we know to admit whether they moved, if not where.

We weren't able to confirm Estellise, before. I think Nito-kun is asking around for hers as well. If she was one, that accounts for one we didn't know, and we'll have to see where we stand after trying to confirm the ones we were aware of. That should let us know if the members we were missing are still with her, or if we'll have to work harder to determine other shifts to at least find out more about where they aren't.

[he pauses to take in a breath, before:]

... and I know. I feel as if we have... reasonable suspicion, with what we have, but I would feel better being more certain.

Still-- those who have killed have acted multiple times, in the past, and our current methods have not been as effective as I had hoped. I think it could be worth the risk to aim for them first.

Ah-- no, I only meant the ones before. We have had three now who killed multiple people, or claimed to. Luna, Newt, Guy-san... though he did it within the same night.

My point in this case is that if we do not intervene in time, I fear they will be emboldened by having gotten away with it, and it will lead to more of the same again.

They may wait, or they may decide to take their chances and deal with the consequences-- or attempt to lessen them, maybe.

... truthfully, I am unsure what to expect. We will most likely stay together and ensure we and Nito-kun are protected, and then if we are targeted we should be able to retaliate. However, if we are not the ones that anyone who strikes decides to aim for... there will be less we can do.

If we become more certain, we may also end up breaking that rule ourselves. I doubt it would restrain Uchiha much.
