I made a proposal, and he accepted; it seemed he had already created what we were looking for, but Ray-kun had a request in progress when he died. Our agreement was to complete that.

I feel as if that ought to be my line, after all you have done for us... it's regretful that I cannot just follow you both, or I would do that in an instant.

... I will miss you when this all comes to an end, you know.
[he'll miss everyone he's met and liked here, honestly, but... at least he's getting used to having to leave places and times behind.]
What kind of request? Do I get to know? [But maybe that doesn't matter too much. Instead, Ishi moves and Jack just kind of lets him take his hands. He's getting used to contact, at least, so that's nice.]
…wouldn't be a competition if you could, but…that means a lot. [Especially for a baby spirit who up until about week 5 didn't really know what he was doing.] Goodbyes are kinda brutal, but we still have some time. I'm really gonna miss you guys, too. Funny how that works, huh?
[There's a slight grin.] …I don't know if you'll ever really know what you did for me, but I wouldn't be the same if we didn't work together. So I hope you know that, at least.
I will remember it-- and I hope you know that I am hardly leaving you behind. I'll still be here for you until the end, whether I am your follower or not.
[but with his own smile growing a little more fond, he continues:]
Though I think you may have less need of that, now. You're going to do well in the end, no matter what the results are-- I have full faith in that.
I know. I know...it's why I'm going to do whatever I can until the end of this game to protect those of you who've taken the time to try. [Even if Ishi isn't his anymore, he'll do what he can to help.]

He's still a little worried about messing things up, but it's nice to have encouragement from spirit-dad.] Even if I don't win, I think I can do a lot to help whoever does now that I know what to do. If it's Piety in the end, I'll do everything I can to keep him safe, too. I promise.
