Essentially, yeah. I won't lie and say I'm not fond of him - because I totally am - but do you have any idea how much of a mess it would be if something happened to him?
Like him or not, he's close to most of the people who are left. I don't think anyone wants to deal with the complete clusterfuck there'd be if he turned up dead some Friday.
