[LISTEN...yeah Majima and Cunning are a mess it's fine.]
Did he? [He sounds kind of surprised, but also...not.] We get along pretty okay. Kind of wondering what he had to say, but...I'm willing to answer whatever you wanna ask about the game itself.
That's because Piety actually has a good head on his shoulders. But he's right, I guess. Let's just say I have some experience leading groups of people to get things done.
And that depends on what he said. [He...isn't so sure Senri fully got what he was trying to say.] You mean what he said during his play thing?
He's correct about that. That's been the one thing I've been backing this entire time, along with the idea of a world where people's prayers aren't ignored and respect's earned, not just taken for no reason.
Some of us got slapped with names that aren't exactly the most descriptive. I told somebody else I'd prefer "Clever" or "Tactical" to "Cunning", but I guess it doesn't have the same ring to it.
It's not so much that I believe I can only do it if I win, but I'm pretty sure I have to be in some kind of good standing. There's a reason Piety and I struck a deal. Mutual benefit and all that. He gets exactly what I'm planning to do, and I'm the one who can take charge and do what he wants.
…we're both believers of balance, I guess. People are just more likely to trust him than me right away.
In other words, you're not opposed to working together, as long as you get enough power to be able to accomplish your goals. That's reasonable enough.
[ nodding. ]
The truth is, I've been trying to convince the gods to form an alliance. All this violence seems unnecessary to me when most of your ideas aren't fundamentally opposed.
Exactly. I worked by myself enough, that got me pretty far, but I figure the whole "teamwork" thing actually has some benefit to it. And anyway it's not like I haven't heard the other platforms from the other gods. I don't agree with everything, but it's not the worst idea.
[There's a kind of "huh" noise though.] An alliance. Tell me about that. What gods? And what're the terms of this alliance?

[ he was a nice boy, surprisingly to Mizuki. ]
Was what Nito-kun said about your goals true?

And that depends on what he said. [He...isn't so sure Senri fully got what he was trying to say.] You mean what he said during his play thing?
no subject
Mm. He said you wanted a world where people aren't bound to their fates and where people can find their own way, more or less.

[ Mizuki relaxes a bit where they're sitting, looking thoughtful. ]
And you believe you can only create a world like that if you're in charge?
