Remember how I told you these glasses have no prescription? That's because these glasses are meant to help me see something a little more abstract.
[ Once they're sitting down, he'll open the arms of the glasses, but he doesn't put them on. He just turns them over in his hands, slow and thoughtful. ]
I guess the easiest way to describe it would be to say that these glasses help you see the truth.
Tough to imagine, right? A desire to turn away from the truth, and live in ignorance... back home, it manifested in the form of a thick fog. If you were stuck in it, you couldn't see more than an inch in front of your face, and it would make you tired, too. But with these glasses on... you could see as clearly as if there weren't any fog at all.
