Yu lets go a silent breath he didn't realize he was holding when Justice doesn't complete that thought. The way they rally warms Yu all through, and, disarmed, he'll let a sudden grin take over his mouth. ]

[Hearing "I'm proud of you" is such a startling set of words to hear that Justice stammers, nearly dropping all of the papers. But with what sounds like a lump in their throat, they pull themselves together and reach for Yu's hand with their tiny one.]

[ That's the first time it really registers. There were other things, small things, tugging at the bottom of his thoughts, none of it utterly conclusive. But now Yu will take their hand without thinking, with all the careful warmth an older brother can muster, and it hits him right in the chest: their hand is so tiny.
