Look, mistakes aside, we're in a better position now than we could've planned for. It worked out, and that's all that matters. The fact that you were able to not only recover but thrive under sub-par conditions just tells me you're the right choice.
He's fallen from his throne and I kind of like watching him flounder. Anyway, it would be pretty bad PR if he suddenly does get targeted after I finally got him and everyone else to think we're actually friends.
