[When Takaomi enters the fortune-teller's den, he finds Fortune seated at one of the low tables, arranging the flowers into a vase. The voice that comes from behind the mask is soft and feminine-sounding, and sounds a little surprised to see him.]

Thank you for the flowers.

There's not much else to offer until next week.

[ it's his way of saying you're welcome ]

I think all of us understand that. [A beat.] Well... most of us.

[Satisfied with how the flowers look in the vase now, Fortune leans back to look at their handiwork.]

Even if there wasn't very little else to offer, I do like flowers, though.

[ ... ]

You're not really what I was expecting.

[Fortune tilts their head to one side.]

What were you expecting?

I don't know. You're just very...

[ he scratches his chin. ]

[There's the sound of a little puff of air from behind the mask. Not possible to see, but Fortune is totally puffing their cheeks out.]

I'm not that short.

Because there were some people who were way too eager to participate. If enough of us abstained like Patience, that would make it a lot easier for someone really unpleasant to win.

That doesn't surprise me.

It's a little surprising, from what I saw at trial.

Piety cares a lot about other people. He can be sort of... passive, sometimes, which is why I think I should win, but there are worse people to have in charge.
