And more than that, we're...the opposite, in a way. I talked to them as soon as I could, because I wanted to know more about them, so I could learn more about myself, too. They both knew what they were, always, from the start.

[He looks at his hands, flexing his fingers.]

But I didn't know. I didn't have anyone to tell me that I was a machine, created by someone for a purpose. As far as I knew, I was as human as anyone else.

There's a code that releases it. I just didn't realize what would happen the first time so...I was scared.

I was with one other person--it was the person who had made me, so he knew...knew exactly what was going to happen. He just watched.

Yeah...I don't like him very much. He was a bad person and...I'm glad that I disappeared from that place.

[Justice pauses again.]

You don't...think it's scary, do you? That I'm not--never was a human? I keep being afraid that the more people know, the more they'll hate me.

That kind of thing doesn't exist where I'm from, so it took a while to get used to, but...it can be cool, right? Androids are in movies and stuff.

[ he scratches the back of his head awkwardly ]

And people don't hate Connor, right?

I-I think...I think Connor's amazing.

[But, being robotic, Justice may be biased.]

I still have a hard time knowing how to act, but...I want to keep learning.

If you're meant to be a kid, then that's normal. Most people don't know what the hell they're doing at that age.

[ taka is stupidly smart even when he was a toddler so he is potentially not the right person to ask ]

... it's a little different from me. My dad's a detective, so I just ended up going with what he did.

I'm good at it. Even if it doesn't feel like it here...
