[This is the most exercise Taka's probably had for a While, but Jack runs up the stairs and practically yeets himself out to the rooftop, standing right in the center to overlook Shibuya.

...his hands slip into the pocket of his hoodie as he takes a few steps forward, bare feet echoing on the room as he goes.]

...better. [[He looks pretty relaxed at least.] This is much better.

[ jack is steadily losing his place as taka's favorite god just by making him run so much

but when he reaches the roof he just, takes a moment to catch his breath

he takes two moments.

and then he walks over to jack ]

Jack's not moving from the center, busy taking in all of Shibuya from his view up here.]

Yeah. The view, the openness...I like being able to see everything. [Why else does Jack perch on everything from bookcases to billiard tables to statues?] I'm never in big cities for long.

A little, yeah. Sort of like being able to do anything. [He holds up a hand though, seemingly testing for a breeze.] Who doesn't?

[ he walks over so that he's right next to him. ]

I guess you're right. It is nice.

[He's simple...he likes being in his element and the temple wasn't so great for that.] Right? Look at how far you can see from up here! It makes everything easier to understand.

[A nod to himself.] ...the wind used to carry me everywhere.

... used to? You can still used your powers from before though, right?

[ he knows other gods could, like fortune. ]

[And suddenly...a devious grin.]

Why do you think we're up here? [Four stories is not high enough for Jack, apparently.]

[ he smiles ]

Exactly. [He takes another few steps forward.] It's hard to catch a good breeze when you're not that high up. I usually have to jump from one of the other balconies.

How far can you go?

[ he assumes until the wind like

At least halfway across the globe. But the wind doesn't mind letting me go as long as I want. I think the Man in the Moon wanted it that way so I could do my job.

[ he lets out a low whistle ]

[ taka please for the love of god get over the santa thing ]

Funny, but no thanks. I'll leave that up to the expert. [...] We did help out Tooth with collecting teeth one night though. That worked out pretty okay.

Tell me about it. But Tooth's pretty passionate about her work…it was nice seeing her so happy. [A little fondness? A little fondness.] Can't say I envy her job though.

Uh huh. That was her. She was always really nice, at least.

[ if taka was someone else, he would ask if jack liked her, but thankfully

he will not do that ]

[Thank god.]

We had a lot going on. Tooth and Sandy work every night of the week. North and Bunny have one day a year, and I'm seasonal. [Shrug.] But it was nicer than watching everybody else go about their lives around the world.

[He shakes his head.] Don't get too close to the edge. I could catch you, but I'd rather not risk you plummeting ten stories.

[bakaomi]

Well, it's been a while since I've been really unlucky.

[divus]

Let's keep it that way. [He's up on the edge of the roof now, glancing this way and that.]

...let's see how this goes. [And with that...he steps off of the edge and disappears from sight.

...but luckily a few seconds later he's soaring through the air like the dumb whimsical fuck he can actually be.]
