Funny. ...Ray was my favorite person in this game, and losing him was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with. When Senpai came after the trial, he said...that he should have pushed harder to protect Ray. And that we'll have to keep moving forward.

...he said he wanted to see if he could make a deal happen to get a bunch of wishes granted, but I don't really know what happened after that. [She has zero idea who he went to talk to or what happened, she means.] But I guess it didn't work, whatever it was.

...and last weekend he apologized for all of his mistakes and said he thinks he only added to my problems. [She frowns, thoughtful then.] He promised he he wouldn't break and said not to worry about him, and to let him worry about me instead.

[...] I want to believe him, at least.

... he tried making a deal with Ambition, but he just upset her in the end because it wasn't something that was possible for a god.

Do you think he's still the same? From back home and you were solving those other murders?

...Ambition? [Uh. Hm. That. Well that might make a few things clear but she's a little unsure what to do with this information.] Oh...so I guess it really didn't go well.

[...] No, I don't think so. When we were with the rest of the Investigation Team, all of us were working together and contributing to solve what Adachi was doing. It was easier to keep a cool head and have time to put stuff together. Here...especially without Yosuke-senpai, Yu-senpai's being really reckless and jumping into stuff without even thinking. I think he thinks he's lost all of us back home because of what happened, but it's been really hard watching everything.

[Evidence milk, all of his curses and wild reactions, getting lost for several days, etc.]

It's why I wonder if being with him is actually hurting him more than he's saying.

... I think it's helping. Having someone next to you is a kind of support that's really special, you know.

[ he looks at what's left of the parfait. ]

It's normal to fall apart when you feel like you can't control anything. Just hold onto his hand.

[She bounces to her feet.] Yay! [The parfait's whisked away.] It'll be fun...plus I want to start looking for presents anyway.

[Weren't they going to Piety's wing? Too bad now it's both.]

Mmm…west. That's the one you haven't really been to yet, right? It'll be new to both of us, and I don't want to spend so long in the east wing that we forget.

Stuff for special people. You know...like stuff to remember us by. [...gifts for her favs, basically.] As a thank you for all your help. Is that weird?

You have to help me pick something for Senri then. I have ideas for a lot of people but some I'm undecided on. Ray, Senri...the girls are easy. Sieg-kun. Stuff like that.

Plus if you guys are pushing for a Piety end, we should see what he's like. [Yeah. She's Aware of what's going on.]

Senpai's not the only person I check on from time to time. I picked up on it in passing. [She folds her hands behind her back as they walk.]

…it's okay, Taka-kun. I get it. If…it's really what you guys think is best…I mean that was the point of the contest. Letting you help us pick.

... if everything is balanced, then I hope it means you all can do things that you want, without it leaning too much towards someone else.

It'd be nice, huh? Balance is such a hard thing to manage...have you talked with him much?

I'm not that close to him. But it's not really just my decision, or else I would be rooting for my favorites.

You mean Jack. [It's fine, she's aware.] I still think everybody's opinion matters. The thing is...Senri's play was good for presenting what we represent, but you kind of just hit the head of the nail or whatever that saying is. Some of you know us better than others.

A world could sound good, but the leader's personality is just as important, I think.

[bakaomi]

... mm. He says that he thinks Ambition would make a good leader. But I think she still has a little more growing to do, since she's pretty sensitive.

A lot of us changed a lot, but seven weeks is still pretty short.

I'd agree with that. She's not a bad person, but she's still young. I think she could do a great job but I also don't think she likes me much or cares what I have to say about it. [Shrug.]

Seven weeks together is still longer than we had before the world blew up.

... why are you guys still not getting along?

Well...I know it's not really her fault, but her followers are really screwing things up for mine. Plus a lot of our ideals are a little different. It's not so much about not getting along, it's just we don't really have a reason to. Our personalities don't always gel, you know? I stay out of her way, she stays out of mine.

...but we're both going to be part of this pantheon, so I'm trying to figure things out.
