[The masks are officially broken and Jack doesn't seem to mind that people can see him. But at the same time it feels weird starting out anywhere but the game room when it comes to meeting with Taka.
He sits on the edge of the billiard table and waits, legs kicking a little as they drape over the edge. When Taka arrives though, he grins. ]
...really? [Taka?? Jack sits up immediately and just leans forward to look at it.] I mean of course I will, but...
[Wow. He's guessing Taka borrowed it from Tamaki's wing or earned it as a reward or something but also this is a nice guitar?] Guess I've gotta learn to play now.
Funny. ...I wouldn't say no. I like the views from up there. Maybe the top of the hotel? I don't know if we can get to the roof but maybe we can open a window. Or somewhere in Ion's wing.
[Nyoom! He's heading to the door, but he's also ruffling Taka's hair with a free hand before slipping out of the game room and heading down toward the east wing The staff's comfortably held in his hand.]
I can't remember the last time I was on that side of the world. It'll be nice to see it.
[ jack is the only person who manages to make taka sheepish at not sharing something. ]
I haven't really talked about them here. [ he hasn't really talked much about himself in general, outside of hobbies and his usual issues that trickle into god conversations. ] My extended family is pretty big. But I have an older sister, and my parents. My dad's a detective.
…a lot of things about you suddenly make sense. [He sort of knew, but he likes letting Taka explain when he feels ready.] Pretty big undertaking to follow his footsteps though. I'm not sure I remember what my family did…maybe those will come back someday.
[Shrug.] You probably don't see them much since you're at school. Do you miss them at all?
I don't really like going home. And it's been... weird, trying to think of home while here, because I have no idea what it'll feel like to be back after all of this.
...disorienting, probably. When I came back as me instead of who I was as a mortal, everything was a little tough to get used to. It was fun at first until I started realizing I was different than everyone around me. [i.e. when he was invisible.]
But supposedly, home doesn't have to be a place. Somebody smart tipped me off to that. Maybe going home this time will be a little better.
WEEK 7, SUNDAY
He sits on the edge of the billiard table and waits, legs kicking a little as they drape over the edge. When Taka arrives though, he grins. ]
We can go somewhere else if you want.

Mm. But first--
[ he has a guitar with him. taka sets it down, leaning it against a wall. ]
I want you to keep this.

[Wow. He's guessing Taka borrowed it from Tamaki's wing or earned it as a reward or something but also this is a nice guitar?] Guess I've gotta learn to play now.

[ he pats it. kind of affectionately. ]
And learning will be a good way to pass the time.

[There's no guarantee they'll see each other again, but he'll fight for the chance where he can. ]
no subject
Maybe we can start a band.
no subject
...it's cool though. Thanks.

[ there's a pause, like he wants to say something else, but-- ]

... so it was mostly me being dragged to places the older people wanted to go to. Paris was nice though... I think.
no subject
...you've never said much about your family before. [Casual. He's not pressing, but it's something he's noticed.]

[ give him a moment to
tackle everything else that was said ]

...not a bad way to approach it though.
