It was for Dadaism.

[One of the art movements that most influenced Chuuya when he was just finding his own style. The anti-war, anti-logic, anti-art. A rejection of the sensibilities that had led to so many useless deaths. The collages, sound poems, the readymades - the people who would argue that a urinal turned on its back and signed is an art piece, or at least a Dada art piece.

Chuuya was never a Dada artist, but he admired them in both philosophy and technique.]

I do still like that part.

I've always felt that artwork is at its finest when it embraces the freedom of chaos. Controlled creativity can fall into formulaic tropes. There's still a mastery that can be gained over these, and it takes still, but isn't it exhilarating to embrace the lawlessness of unconventionality?

The cape's inspired by Miyazawa-sensei. The only poet I'd ever call greater than myself.

Sincerity. It's not something he's good at when he talks, but when he writes it's one of his strengths.]

[There's an instant where Disorder's fingers tense into claws as they glide against the glass, causing the delicate surface to warble, but she composes herself with a soft intake of breath.]

Meeting my heroes has worked out fine for me before.

It's only that I wish you'd picked anyone else to idolize. Anyone else at all. You see, this Sincerity, I hate to be rude, isn't exactly a paragon of honesty.

Lying is easy. Not getting caught is the hard part, especially if you're trying to fool gods.

Lying can take multiple forms. Sometimes, people lie in thinking they're being honest or moral. I'm sure you already understand that well enough.

[And in that moment, the iciness from the beginning of their conversation is back full force. Without warning, Disorder stops walking and slams her fist full force into the nearest mirror, shattering a hole into it. As she turns to look at Chuuya with a tense posture, the shards pick themselves up and re-knit back into place, leaving not so much as a scratch.]

Don't. Don't mock me.

[Chuuya flinches. His first thought is 'thank god that wasn't my face'.

His second thought is 'but you make it so easy'. He's not stupid enough to voice either of these thoughts.]

That's fine. I think I've made myself about as clear as I can be...for now.

[But as he likely tries to make his not-so-subtle exit, while she doesn't pursue him, Disorder points a slender finger at him.]

[Taking a breath, her voice evens back out.]
