I was not asking to ensure you hadn't heart another conversation. I was trying to make sure no one would hear this.
[She pauses, thinking of the best way to word this.]
Could an individual defect from two different gods over the course of their time here? For example, could someone who has chosen Ambition go to Merriment, and then back again?
[What a strange and suspicious question. A 3DS disappears into their cloak.]
In theory? Yeah, you could. You have a wait a week and you might not get the chance to change back if something happens to you before the week's up, but I don't see why not. [In theory.] Some of us might not be too thrilled about that method though.
Do you think there would be advantages to a follower of yours joining another faction temporarily to gain information, if they intended to join your cause once more?
That'd depend on which faction you're thinking of. Some are gonna see right through that, some won't know a damn thing, and some will come back to bite me in the ass.
Piety's a smart kid. He might see right through you, especially if you jump immediately from me to him. Kind of two conflicts of interest, you know what I mean? [Cunning's still moving around the room and taking things to shove into their cloak.] You'll want a god that's going to be big-headed and convinced you're making the "right" choice to defect to.
Indulgence. Sincerity. They're both a little idiotic. Beauty, too. Love's soft and sweet but she'll see right through any fakers that come her way. Justice you might be able to trick easily because he's pretty young and Merriment isn't even paying attention to what's going on here. Fortune's a crapshoot, hard to tell what she's thinking. [A pause.] Ruin'll kick my ass and yours if you switch from me to her and back to me.
[Another pause...] And don't bother messing with Disorder or Ambition. They have their own agendas and I don't need anyone spying on them for me.
I've spoken to Piety already, and he remarked on how similar he felt we were, as well as the fact that he would be pleased to have me join him. Do you think he was telling the truth?
[Once she's established that, though, she looks thoughtful.]
Indulgence does offer skills that may prove useful.
I don't think he was lying, nah. Piety is probably one of the most, if not the honest member of our pantheon. It's why he's equally dangerous.
[There's a half-hearted laugh.] Indulgence is a moron but he picked his skills well. Just do me a favor? If you go with the animal one, don't turn into a goat.
Yes, actually. I was wondering if there any task you would like me to complete for you while I am in one of their care, other than gathering facts about them and their followers.

[She pauses, confusion clear on her face.]
It would not be my first choice. Why?
no subject
[But hm.] Just trust me. Never liked goats much anyway.

As for a task? ...convince one of their own to kill. Start taking out their numbers from the inside.

I'll have to find one who will be clumsy enough to not get away with any crimes they commit.
