They're getting involved with each other, not with all of you. All the cooperation in the world won't turn a team of six into the winners if all of you decide to support people who aren't in that group.
It's better to work with people who are of a like mind, don't you think? You don't have to worry about silly disagreements over things like whether or not someone is disposable.
