When he taps on the wall to the side of the nail polish shelf... it sounds different from the rest of the wall. In fact, it sounds almost hollow.]

[Where's a Venus Adept when you need one? Or Garet?

Let's see just how built into the wall these shelves are. Can he pull them back?]

[The shelves are like. Those ones that are straight up attached to the wall. They're not going anywhere.]

[Rar. Okay, back over to the part where he heard the hollow sound. Would a careful visual/fingers along it examination reveals any cracks or anything else telling?]

[The wall seems entirely solid! If he keeps tapping, though, he'll find that the hollow part is basically exactly the right size and shape to be a door.]

[Then over to the nail polish shelf again. Can he see or reach to the wall behind it? Maybe if he moves most of the bottles?]

[Moving most of the bottles out of the way does allow him to see the wall behind the shelf. Congratulations! Now he is looking at a wall.]

Any noises of interest when he knocks on it?]

[It sounds like a good, solid wall! The only part of the wall that seems hollow is the part to the side of the shelf.]

[Okee dokee, about the only idea left in the JRPG handbook is going over the mirrors and seeing if there's anything wall switch-y around there. Any oddities, are they attached to the wall?]

[nope, nothing there!]

[Well, honestly he's only in here because he aligned with Cunning this week so he'll be back tomorrow (Thursday)!]

[and on Thursday, when he comes back and uses his power, a door appears in the wall. Slowly, it creaks open.]

[All righty, then he'll just head straight on in!]

[The door opens up into a room that is really too large for any one person - it looks more like a penthouse suite at a swanky hotel than a bedroom, complete with a balcony. Around the left-hand corner of the curtains in the image there's a large, luxurious-looking bed, and attached to the wall there is what looks like a walk-in closet.

The room itself is empty, for now.]

[Hey, seems like the sort of room he'd rent for himself. Although yeah, it's pretty obviously a for someone to stay in.

He'll start with what's directly around him after entering. Anything of interest if he looks toward and beyond the balcony?]

[this won't mean anything to Alex, but the view from the balcony looks like Paris]

[...Are you from that thing my friends and my sister and at least one of her kids are into but I haven't seen it and said friends admit it may not be my cup of tea?

But yeah, he just sees a rather large city. Is there anything of potential note to him to see to the left of that? He'll go past the curtain after this. ...ish.]

nothing of particular note to the left of the balcony, no. if he wants to examine any of the furniture in the picture in any detail, he's welcome to do so, but he'll have to get over there and do it.]

[It has like Paris and ladybugs or whatever and that carpet is... idk.

Actually, he'll move along first. He should probably see everything that's around him. Is there anything to see on the bed?]

[when he looks at the bed, he sees very expensive-looking blankets, a plethora of pillows, and a ladybug plushie.]

[Since it currently seems like a bad idea to mess with where stuff is on the bed, how about that closet? Can he open the door?]

[he sure can! it's a big, walk-in closet. it contains a few sets of robes in the same style that Ambition usually wears, along with a wide array of dresses, blouses, and pants. there's a set of drawers set into the far wall of the closet, too - they're all shut - and a rack of shoes.]
