[This is a very nice, non-spoopy path! There's even a very helpful string to guide them! As they venture forward the wall, again, seems to slide closed and trap them inside. They're now in a tunnel and seem to follow a string that started out white and slowly seems to turn red. It's not blood, it's just fading from white to pink to a solid red to guide them.
As they walk, they'll also hear the walls begin to shift around them, and eventually they hit a point where the string...runs out...
...hm.
They have three paths to pick from their current point. The left, the right and the center don't seem to have any noticeable differences.
Connor takes a moment to stare at the three paths, trying to pick even the slightest hint of a detail that would set them apart. Obviously, he won't find any. Which is, you know, great for the decision making process.]
... I'm unable to spot any differences between all three paths. We'll have to arbitrarily pick one to proceed.
[As they head left, the walls begin to brighten a little more until they step inside what looks like a large room. Entering it, they'll find themselves blissfully alone for a few moments before the sound of cage bars sliding open hits their ears.
There's an angry snarling sound, a howl of outrage and when the three turn around they'll find themselves face to face with a brand new friend.
He's taking a step back, startled and way out of his field. Killing monsters is 100% not part of his programming? So. You know. Hissing through his teeth—]

[Gun child, this is a fantastic time to pew pew? And maybe master the art of bullfighting on the spot. He's ready to jump out of the way if their new friend decides to charge at them. But in those precious seconds before they get murdered — what's in the room? Any exits or openings? Any handy dandy tools or torches that can be used to fulfill Eli's minotaur killing dreams?]
[connor doesn't need to tell ray twice. almost instinctively, he aims the gun at the center of the minotaur's face and fires (minotaur, minotaur—nothing special about how to kill them, from what he recalls from mythology. hopefully easier to deal with than demons, but time to see). no panic; for better or for worse, he's in his element now.]
She does take a step back, both because she was instructed and out of pure instinct, even as she grips the knife tight enough to make her knuckles go white. After a few moments, though, she fishes a small, rectangular box out of her pocket and looks towards Ray.]
Ray - you remember what I told you about the matches? Should I...?
[No torches of any kind, though there are some bloodied remains and skeletal remnants. There's also a crawlspace that's big enough to fit them one at a time through, but the minotaur's currently blocking it.
Or. Was. Ray shoots at its face and the monster roars again before bringing its head down to not only charge but also swing its axe. There's enough time to dodge, but its aim is also off since it's bleeding from the face.]

Whatever you're going to do— do it now. There's a crawlspace behind it!
[Time to NYOOM. He'll move out of the way of the axe swings, but. Uh. Please don't get trampled while scheming, kids. He'll have a fucking heart attack??]
[She dodges as it moves forwards towards them, trying to use the opportunity to get closer to that crawlspace behind it. She glances at Ray to make sure he’s not in immediate danger first, then stares directly at the monster as she pulls out a match and strikes it against the book.]
[Somewhere, Cunning is politely golf-clapping. Anyway, the monster's set on fire and man he goes up in flames pretty quickly, the smell of burnt hair wafting into the small room. The walls begin to shift again but this time they can see the bricks moving inch by inch. The minotaur swings blindly, axe crashing into the wall and narrowly missing the three of them in a wide-arc swing.
The door to the crawlspace slides open. Time to go! It's just as dark in there, too, but if Connor looks since he's closest, he'll find frayed edges of red yarn lying in the opening.
They shouldn't contemplate for too long though since the minotaur continues to thrash and swing, trying to land a hit on any of them as he burns.]
[He may be the closest, but he's not going to yeet himself through the crawlspace until the other two have gone through it. It's definitely not the time to admire Zoe's handiwork, as warm and toasty as it may be. Time to go, go, go!]
[She follows after Ray with little complaint as she pockets the matchbook, even if she looks behind her to make sure Connor is going to make it in safely. As they all presumably move forward, whispered:]
[The minotaur charges against the crawlspace as they move ahead, but the door shuts in its face and leads behind horn-like indents. As they crawl, they'll find that the dark space has a short incline leading them up and out. Connor will have to bang on the door at the other end, but when he does it will more or less kick the three of them out and toss them in a pile on the floor.
This room is strangely empty, seeing how it only holds a ping-pong table, a stack of crackers and cheese whiz, and an assorted number of chairs surrounding the table.
Connor's just going to stare at the void for a hot second, LED spinning, eerily still in the way that only an android can be. When he speaks up, it's in the same customer service-y tone as always.]
Is everyone alright?

He'll help the others get up if it's necessary, but otherwise? He sure is going to go ahead and take a look around the room, sticking his fingers in the cheese whiz once he wanders by in order to sample it. Sorry, Cunning.]
[And this is how Connor dies. No, just kidding, he can do that and he'll find that it's literally just cheese whiz? It's also like, fresh cheese whiz as opposed to expired cheese whiz. There's not much else in this room, but apparently Connor licking did something.
