..... I keep thinking - ah, why did I pick Thursday? Doesn't it feel a little bit like Cinderella? I have to go before the clock strikes 10, or else that'll be quite the anti-climactic ending for our date.

[if he just passes the fuck out - but also... he just manages a small little smile as he looks up at Tamaki. his brow furrows - it is not easy? to let senri to be with someone else. that shouldn't make him happy - and it doesn't, actually. it makes his heart twist in a way that's both pleased and painful, but he thinks he'd rather take that feeling over just the pain of being neglected.

but that's the stupid thing, he thinks. tamaki never neglects him.]

.... so until then, I don't want to talk about me and anyone else. Who I may or may not fall in love with, over time, in circumstances I can't control. Who you may or may not fall in love with, away from me.

[and he just looks up at tamaki, sheepish but earnest]

I'd just like to talk about - this. Us. For however much time that we have left. Even if it'll sting tomorrow... isn't it okay to be happy for now?

Does that mean I'm allowed to be Prince Charming for the time we have together? [There's a little laugh.] At least after this…I'll know where to find you, and you me. I suppose that makes us luckier than Cinderella and her prince.

[But…yeah. Let's not talk about his own complicated feelings. He listens to what Senri says, quiet and concerned and letting his expression settle on resigned but happy. This isn't something he knows how to really deal with without running away, but…they can try.]

…I'm happiest when other people are happy. [A truthful statement.] I like it best when people smile and enjoy themselves, so for tonight we can do just that. We still have a whole carnival to explore. I've never seen most of these rides before…they look fun, don't they? [And he bows his head just a bit.] If anyone should experience these things with me, I'd like it to be you. So let's make the most of tonight.

I don't think I could stay away from you for too long if I tried.

[senri would make a terrible cinderella because through hell or high water he would've shown up again the next day, banging on tamaki's door begging for attention? but also he watches tamaki's expressions closely and he laughs faintly.]

You would say something like that.... [and he tilts his head] ... can you bend down a little bit? I have a secret I'd like to tell you, but you're a bit too tall for me. And then we'll go to a ride right after that, promise.

[and he hopes that maybe - just maybe, they can try to lift their spirits and let the magic continue for a little bit longer]

I'm flattered. [He looks surprised though and doesn't say anything, just listening to Senri and bending down enough that they're eye level. ] What is it?

[Tamaki should possibly learn to say no to Senri sometimes

because there's a look of disbelief and fondness on his face because of just how painfully easy that was - and then he'll tilt his head just so that he can press a kiss to Tamaki's cheek, brief and sweet. and then he'll pull back, casual as anything aside from the sight red that's beginning to crawl up his neck]

You always make me happy - so please continue to be the happiest for me too.

[and then he'll pull back and pull on their hands to start heading for the rides]

[He should, but it's a dream date and in dreams there's no such thing as a wish too big. Tamaki leans down and Senri kisses his cheek and it's hard to ignore the fact that his heart beats a little faster and his face grows warm. It's sweet, really, and he's not sure what to say other than laugh to himself.]

We can do that for each other, can't we? [Following along, he lets Senri lead as he eyes the carnival. There's still a container of fries, but whatever.] Let's save the ferris wheel for last when the fireworks go off.

[they can still keep eating these fries and feeding each other, it's cool. it's the only date they'll ever get, so might as well make it count.]

Ah, leave it to a host to read my mind for the perfect idea for maximum romance...!!

What do you want to do until then? A rollercoaster? The carousel? Maybe a fun house....

[That works since they have one hand to hold the fries and one hand to feed them to each other since they're still holding hands like idiots...]

Fun house...? [Is that like a haunted house.] What sort of fun house? [His eyes are already drifting back to the carousel though because Tamaki is a simpleton at heart.]

[they're never going to not be holding hands, ty]

Mm, there's one with a bunch of mirrors that Sasuke went to... but just between you and me - I think I'd like to go on the carousel more. It's a little cheesy, but -

[tamaki will spoil him with what he wants....]

It's a dream date, so wouldn't it be a crime not to make this cheesy and romantic~? [There's a wink...and he's nyooming toward the carousel with Senri in tow.] The music's fun, isn't it? It feels very...magical.

[why are his legs so long - senri's keeping up as much as he can but tamaki is like 80% leg you know??]

Mm-hmm! It's really cute and sweet. I think it was calling your name. ♪

[He's trying to slow down enough but also he's excited, sue him.] You think?

[Once they're at the carousel he pauses, watching the wooden horses spin in a lazy circle as the music plays.] Which ones should we pick? Perhaps those? [He points out a white horse and a tan one right next to it accented with red and gold.] They seem to go together well.

[senri can't help but laugh - ]

It'd be fitting for Prince Charming to be drawn to the white horse. I like those - we'll have to make sure we get them!

[even though there's not a lot of other people around... well, he can play anyway]

[An enthused nod, and he's watching the carousel go round and round as they wait their turn.]

Senri. Do people really like these sort of things? [It's a light question, but he seems to be thinking...]

Sure - they're like.... classic? They're a good ride for little kids who can't make it to the roller coasters yet, especially since they're smaller.

I think they're good for families, and people on cute dates.

[they fit nicely in the latter,]

Classic...[He likes the sound of that word, and he smiles again when Senri mentions those two things in particular. That's the sort of feeling he wants to emulate, isn't it?] I have ideas for my wing whenever I host, but there's still time for adjustments. Having things that multiple people can enjoy is nice. Disorder actually did well creating this place.

[He's about to say something, but then the horses stop and it's their turn.] Let's go! [And the remaining fries are set aside on a random bench because Tamaki's just Like That and he pulls Senri toward their horses.]

[THE FRIES,,

why does senri find this endearing... dammit... he's just going to laugh and tag along, heading off to their designated horses and then he'll only let go of tamaki's hand for a second just to get on his.]

What are you thinking? Horses and hot air balloons?

Ah! That's a secret, mon ami. But a fairy tale would be pretty fun, wouldn't it? Dancing and music and magic...happy endings. [He's settled on his horse and the carousel begins.] Even if it's just for a week, I think people may like that.

[ . . . .and senri just laughs a little at that - because of all things, he doesn't believe in happy endings. but.]

[this is horrible - and senri laughs even as their carousel brings them in circles]

Mm, i always like eating my favorite foods first - but I feel like it's always the last dance of the night that everyone remembers the most....

First and last...[They go in circles, horses "galloping" in time to cutesy music, and it makes him think for a moment.]

but he takes a second as they keep going around in circles before he shift to try to pull out his phone from his pocket]

Mm - Tamaki, let's take a picture?

Can you reach that far? [It's a valid question, but with their horses next to each other it might work out. Tamaki's also staring at Senri's phone because his timeline only has flip phones. Luckily he's not too distracted.] But alright.

[And maybe he just doesn't mind posing because that's just what Tamaki does, excited and earnest and eager all at once.]

Don't make fun of me just because some of us aren't ten feet tall.

but senri will adjust so that they're still at a super cute angle?? he'll flash a peace sign just as tamaki poses and he laughs -
