You don't think you can learn from a competition?

I learned a lot from the last one.

... This one is very different in structure.

I don't think this one needs to end with just one team left standing.

I really hope that's not how this goes. Most of us would like to stay alive and in the running even if we lose.

Nobody here wants to die, even if it'll all be fixed.

How do you guys win? Is it the god with the most amount of followers at the very end?

[divus]

Yeah. It's the most alive followers, but anybody who's died and was on the winning team counts as a winner, too. Pretty weird system, right?

Huh... That is weird.

Why did you all decide on that?

Can't tell you. When we started making the rules of the game, everybody was talking all over each and we kind of agreed to a bunch of things we didn't realize we did until later.

Is that why Sincerity can't remember what the rules are?

... Does anybody remember what all of them are?

If anybody does it's Piety, but most of us got distracted trying to mediate or arguing with each other. [At least he sounds embarrassed.]

It sounds like a chaotic time, so I can't blame you.

[divus]

I had a headache for a week after it was all settled. [Not really, but.] We're trying to undo the chaos, but you've seen how this game's running. That's why we need you guys.

... Do you really think it'll be less chaotic with more of us here?

No, but at least more opinions would be heard so we can start deciding which opinions we should really look into instead of just shooting in the dark and hoping for the best.

Is that really going to be based on who wins...?

[divus]

...all I can say is that we don't know how open to suggestions the head of the pantheon will be until we know who it is.

[heartmunculus]

Then I hope the god in the lead at the end of this will be willing to listen to others.

You and me both, kiddo. That's what a bunch of us are aiming for even if we don't win ourselves. I wouldn't mind not being the leader as long as I knew whoever we chose would take the job seriously.

Who do you think will take it seriously?

[divus]

...Justice and Piety would do their best, though I'm worried about the rest of the pantheon bowling over them. Love would take her job seriously once she got it, maybe; one of the hardest-working girls I've met. Beauty's grown up, and I think Sincerity stands a chance, too.

...and I guess me, too. Cunning might if he could stop letting his arrogance get in the way. And Ambition needs someone to watch her, but her plans aren't the worst I've heard.

That sounds like most of you would be a good fit for the leader, if it comes to taking it seriously.

It's just a matter of the kinds of worlds you'll each create.

...what kind of world do you want Sieg? What would you like to see?

[heartmunculus]

I want... something where people aren't created to serve one singular purpose. I want them to have the freedom to choose. Sometimes people choose wrong, but I think free will is important. Homunculi... we aren't supposed to have anything like that. We only recognize other options when they're given to us.

... Also if it's possible, nothing that could grant any wish in exchange for lives. It doesn't tend to work out well.
