[Even if it's small, if it does anything for the others... then it's an improvement.]
And I will look forward to their aid, in that case, but I also meant to ask... do you believe anything might be done to assist in working with the plants here? Most of these require little effort to be useful, but at least one will take a bit more work than I am able to do with what we have.
I wouldn't be able to give you anything to work with right away, but I can absolutely make sure such materials are available for you to use when I'm hosting. Right now, I can only freely provide items that would logically be found within this study, and any other productions would only be allowed to be given directly in return for a favor. I'm sorry for all these complications.
[Piety sighs, shaking their head.]
In the meantime, you might be able to find a substitute pestle and mortar in the kitchen.
For now, the only favors I have to ask is to spread goodwill. You're already so kind, Ishikirimaru, I think it will be a natural task.
[Bringing the fingers of one hand up to their chin, Piety laughs slightly.]
It feels a bit like soliciting...I just want to spread the truth of my intentions. If you can convince anyone even just to hold an audience with me who might be otherwise reluctant, I'd consider that a great favor.
[They match each other well with their gentle brand of enthusiasm.]

[He gives them a grateful nod, and then after a little pause:]
Ah, speaking of favors, though... I wanted to ask just what sorts of requests you anticipate making of us.

[More people should have the chance to hear them out, he thinks; of course he's somewhat biased, here, but still.]
I believe most people I've met wouldn't exactly be reluctant, but I will try to encourage them regardless.
