[ so, it's not the tallest skyscraper, but it's taller than most of the buildings in the area. ]

Although you spent most of it in your room anyway from what I saw.

During the days, yeah. [He's busy staring at the elevator walls instead, waiting as they rise higher and higher.] It was comfortable there.

[And that means a lot to someone still finding his footing in the new world.] I used to travel everywhere, hang out on the highest points and see the world that way. Other people's territory is always a weird thing.

Well, if you wanted to explore you could have done it with me. It might have made it less awkward.

[ or maybe taka just likes hanging out with him ]

I know. Your days get pretty busy though. [And he also figured it was maybe important for Taka to spend time with people his own age, learning to make friends, etc.]

[ the elevator dings as the doors slide open. ]

Hey, there's roof access to this thing right? [Stop this.]

... yeah. We had to go on it when we were doing the speed dates.

[A nod...and off he goes to find the stairwell to the roof, goodbye!!] Cool, I wanna try something.

taka runs after him???? ]

[This is the most exercise Taka's probably had for a While, but Jack runs up the stairs and practically yeets himself out to the rooftop, standing right in the center to overlook Shibuya.

...his hands slip into the pocket of his hoodie as he takes a few steps forward, bare feet echoing on the room as he goes.]

...better. [[He looks pretty relaxed at least.] This is much better.

[ jack is steadily losing his place as taka's favorite god just by making him run so much

but when he reaches the roof he just, takes a moment to catch his breath

he takes two moments.

and then he walks over to jack ]

Jack's not moving from the center, busy taking in all of Shibuya from his view up here.]

Yeah. The view, the openness...I like being able to see everything. [Why else does Jack perch on everything from bookcases to billiard tables to statues?] I'm never in big cities for long.

[ it's murmured, and he sounds more fond than teasing ]

A little, yeah. Sort of like being able to do anything. [He holds up a hand though, seemingly testing for a breeze.] Who doesn't?

[ he walks over so that he's right next to him. ]

I guess you're right. It is nice.

[He's simple...he likes being in his element and the temple wasn't so great for that.] Right? Look at how far you can see from up here! It makes everything easier to understand.

[A nod to himself.] ...the wind used to carry me everywhere.

... used to? You can still used your powers from before though, right?

[ he knows other gods could, like fortune. ]

[And suddenly...a devious grin.]

Why do you think we're up here? [Four stories is not high enough for Jack, apparently.]

[ he smiles ]

Exactly. [He takes another few steps forward.] It's hard to catch a good breeze when you're not that high up. I usually have to jump from one of the other balconies.

How far can you go?

[ he assumes until the wind like

At least halfway across the globe. But the wind doesn't mind letting me go as long as I want. I think the Man in the Moon wanted it that way so I could do my job.

[ he lets out a low whistle ]
