You have multiple gods to choose from, and multiple chances to join a new team. Some of the gods are making alliances behind the scenes, too. For all I know, some of them might make arrangements for the followers of gods they have an alliance with if they win.

Well, I wouldn't put it past anyone to do everything they could to ensure victory. Personally, I don't care who wins so long as I get my reward.

See, that's the right attitude to have. Everyone else? "Ohhh, we can win this without violence!" "How dare you make us play in a game we agreed to be here for!" So boring.

But if the other gods are really getting as involved as you suggest, are we really making the decision? Or perhaps this is a continuation of what led you to this point in the first place?

They're getting involved with each other, not with all of you. All the cooperation in the world won't turn a team of six into the winners if all of you decide to support people who aren't in that group.

Very true. I hardly think you gods could really trust each other easily anyway, given the stakes. It seems they're rather foolish as well...

In the end? The only person you can ever fully rely on is yourself. But you understand that, don't you?

It's better to work with people who are of a like mind, don't you think? You don't have to worry about silly disagreements over things like whether or not someone is disposable.

They can certainly be preferable to keep close, yes. I've found that just about anyone can be an ally with the proper incentive, however.

Sometimes, yes... [But if they have anybody they care about hostage situations usually do the trick!] That being said, there can be more strength with numbers than with simple agreement.
