[He picks up the gold and blue nail polishes, and nothing happens. But, hey, he can always take them with him.]

[Eh, maybe if he thinks he has an actual use for them... Let's pick up the other colors too just to be sure. Starting with the reds and blacks, and if those yield nothing he'll give white and pink a once over too.]

[Picking up the other polishes does nothing! What else will he try?]

[Since he's there, anything on or around the mani/pedi tables of note?]

[Mainly just supplies used for them! Nail files, trimmers, etc.]

[Okay, well since he hasn't seen anything to help explain them in any of these places, it's time to check out those weird hair dryer things. He'll be especially thorough trying to see how and if they move and whatnot, because they're very foreign to him.]

[They don't really move much, but when he presses some buttons on them, they all start working. It's very loud, and very warm just under the little dome thingies.]

[What sort of crazy fire/wind hybrid is this.....

He'll leave those running for now because he's a ninja like that. Let's do the next JRPG step and check the wall. Anything of potential interest there?]

[What is he doing to the wall? Is he just looking at it, or...?]

[Looking, running his hands across it, knocking or tapping sometimes. If only he had Reveal or Insight...]

[Well!

When he taps on the wall to the side of the nail polish shelf... it sounds different from the rest of the wall. In fact, it sounds almost hollow.]

[psynergy]

[Where's a Venus Adept when you need one? Or Garet?

Let's see just how built into the wall these shelves are. Can he pull them back?]

[The shelves are like. Those ones that are straight up attached to the wall. They're not going anywhere.]

[psynergy]

[Rar. Okay, back over to the part where he heard the hollow sound. Would a careful visual/fingers along it examination reveals any cracks or anything else telling?]

[The wall seems entirely solid! If he keeps tapping, though, he'll find that the hollow part is basically exactly the right size and shape to be a door.]

[psynergy]

[Then over to the nail polish shelf again. Can he see or reach to the wall behind it? Maybe if he moves most of the bottles?]

[Moving most of the bottles out of the way does allow him to see the wall behind the shelf. Congratulations! Now he is looking at a wall.]

[Hello, wall.

Any noises of interest when he knocks on it?]

[It sounds like a good, solid wall! The only part of the wall that seems hollow is the part to the side of the shelf.]

[psynergy]

[Okee dokee, about the only idea left in the JRPG handbook is going over the mirrors and seeing if there's anything wall switch-y around there. Any oddities, are they attached to the wall?]

[nope, nothing there!]

[psynergy]

[Well, honestly he's only in here because he aligned with Cunning this week so he'll be back tomorrow (Thursday)!]

[and on Thursday, when he comes back and uses his power, a door appears in the wall. Slowly, it creaks open.]

[psynergy]

[All righty, then he'll just head straight on in!]

[The door opens up into a room that is really too large for any one person - it looks more like a penthouse suite at a swanky hotel than a bedroom, complete with a balcony. Around the left-hand corner of the curtains in the image there's a large, luxurious-looking bed, and attached to the wall there is what looks like a walk-in closet.

The room itself is empty, for now.]
