He sounds important then. [...] Sieg, in my ideal world, I want it to be a place where you can protect what matters most with ease. There are some people that want to let darkness come in and take over, rule and make people fear them, but that's not me. I never wanted something like that. All I want is a place the light never goes out and you can keep your most important things and people safe.

And a world where people remember it's not always about responsibilities. You can't go through life without having a little fun along the way.

He's very important to me.

[He's kind of a pain for other people and Sieg knows that. But a person who always constantly strives to go no matter what is a good thing.

Sieg nods, he can understand a world like that. Especially when Merriment is aware of the people who would rather make the world worse.]

... Is that why you made the game room?

Ehhh sort of. The game room's a place I wanted to make so you guys always had something to take your mind off of the bad parts of this game. It may not always help, but it's always here.

No, I do. I just don't spend a lot of time up there when I don't have to. [Shrug.] And that's why you're here and why you should learn from other people, Sieg. It'll be good for you.

Sort of. It's a god thing, we can just...disappear when we have to. [Ahaha.]

You don't think you can learn from a competition?

I learned a lot from the last one.

Your Grail War, right? Pretty sure this isn't that drastic...is it?

I don't think this one needs to end with just one team left standing.

I really hope that's not how this goes. Most of us would like to stay alive and in the running even if we lose.

Nobody here wants to die, even if it'll all be fixed.

How do you guys win? Is it the god with the most amount of followers at the very end?

[divus]

Yeah. It's the most alive followers, but anybody who's died and was on the winning team counts as a winner, too. Pretty weird system, right?

[heartmunculus]

Huh... That is weird.

Why did you all decide on that?

Can't tell you. When we started making the rules of the game, everybody was talking all over each and we kind of agreed to a bunch of things we didn't realize we did until later.

Is that why Sincerity can't remember what the rules are?

... Does anybody remember what all of them are?

If anybody does it's Piety, but most of us got distracted trying to mediate or arguing with each other. [At least he sounds embarrassed.]

It sounds like a chaotic time, so I can't blame you.

I had a headache for a week after it was all settled. [Not really, but.] We're trying to undo the chaos, but you've seen how this game's running. That's why we need you guys.
