Loyalty certainly does help when it's true.

I did. But as I also said [Seriously why was Blackfire the only one listening?!], I don't believe the fixation was my own.

[Apparently Norwegians are tall, who knew?]

Only what was there to read. Destruction of course, turning people to stone, and transferring wounds, correct?

[People turn into trees in his world, the stone thing does not seem weird. And if I'm right about the mask he definitely gets that feel.]

In lieu of my actual healing, yes. [Stupid rules, the things he does for you, Psynergy...]

I must admit, the random selection of the recipient seemed off-putting, but I certainly couldn't transfer something I already have to myself... And might I assume that dying disqualifies one from winning?

It can hardly be considered my fault, anyway. I'd have no control over the attack or the results.

[Just...let him have his blameless logic, he thinks it keeps him out of trouble. And actually it kind of does usually.]

That's true. I'd find myself a tad vexed to be trapped in an alignment with a god who'd lost all their followers before the end...

[...Yeah, he absolutely will not accept that logic.]

Yes. I do hope it wouldn't lead to any regrettable circumstances, either.

[...will you stop threatening the gods, you don't even have the Golden Sun here ya pompous a-hole.]

...A winning god? I sincerely doubt a tie would be allowed in these circumstances, but might I question your phrasing anyway?

[Works for him...]

Well, I wouldn't put it past anyone to do everything they could to ensure victory. Personally, I don't care who wins so long as I get my reward.

So on top of forcing a consensus, you'd like to find this interesting.

[Not judging, he's got his own Things.]

I do agree that the mindsets of many of these people are...lacking, at best.

But if the other gods are really getting as involved as you suggest, are we really making the decision? Or perhaps this is a continuation of what led you to this point in the first place?

Very true. I hardly think you gods could really trust each other easily anyway, given the stakes. It seems they're rather foolish as well...

Although along those lines, it still doesn't say much about the right selection for a patron...

They can certainly be preferable to keep close, yes. I've found that just about anyone can be an ally with the proper incentive, however.
