[Something that wouldn't be missed and also had some sort of function while fitting in with "ruin"... Maybe there's some external force with an awful sense of humor messing with his reason.
He'll grab it. Not making any other move in regards to it now.]
Is that so? In all fairness, it doesn't appear as though you've attracted any new followers yet. Though it has only been a possibility for about a week now, hasn't it...?
That's right. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how beneficial being able to transfer fatal wounds away from yourself at a moment's notice would be, do I?
In lieu of my actual healing, yes. [Stupid rules, the things he does for you, Psynergy...]
I must admit, the random selection of the recipient seemed off-putting, but I certainly couldn't transfer something I already have to myself... And might I assume that dying disqualifies one from winning?
You have multiple gods to choose from, and multiple chances to join a new team. Some of the gods are making alliances behind the scenes, too. For all I know, some of them might make arrangements for the followers of gods they have an alliance with if they win.
See, that's the right attitude to have. Everyone else? "Ohhh, we can win this without violence!" "How dare you make us play in a game we agreed to be here for!" So boring.
But if the other gods are really getting as involved as you suggest, are we really making the decision? Or perhaps this is a continuation of what led you to this point in the first place?
They're getting involved with each other, not with all of you. All the cooperation in the world won't turn a team of six into the winners if all of you decide to support people who aren't in that group.

[Ruin giggles.]
You said you were worried about your safety, didn't you? At the trial.

I did. But as I also said [
Seriously why was Blackfire the only one listening?!], I don't believe the fixation was my own.no subject
[Ruin looks up at him, because he's taller than her and I hate that.]
How much do you know about the powers I can give you? ♡

Only what was there to read. Destruction of course, turning people to stone, and transferring wounds, correct?
[People turn into trees in his world, the stone thing does not seem weird.
And if I'm right about the mask he definitely gets that feel.]no subject

[ :) ]
If the god you follow wins, you'll still get your wish even if you've died. But it's easier to make sure your god wins if you're alive.

[Just...let him have his blameless logic, he thinks it keeps him out of trouble. And actually it kind of does usually.]
That's true. I'd find myself a tad vexed to be trapped in an alignment with a god who'd lost all their followers before the end...

[i mean, by the rules of the game he would be considered the culprit, but whatever]
That would be the worst thing in the world.

Yes. I do hope it wouldn't lead to any regrettable circumstances, either.
[...will you stop threatening the gods, you don't even have the Golden Sun here ya pompous a-hole.]

Well, I wouldn't put it past anyone to do everything they could to ensure victory. Personally, I don't care who wins so long as I get my reward.

[Not judging, he's got his own Things.]
I do agree that the mindsets of many of these people are...lacking, at best.
