[ he raises the camera, trying to get both the parfait and rise in the picture. ]

[She gets it, and she's also moving the parfait enough to make sure it's in the shot. The way she poses and the way she smiles kind of screams "I'm used to cameras" but…]

We should check out the wings and take lots of pictures for him then. He can always take them back with him, too.

[ he snaps the shot, and then pulls out the polaroid that comes out. taka slides it over to her as it develops. ]

Yeah. I'm sure Senri would make a scrapbook for him.

That's sweet. [She's peering at the photo though even as she slides the parfait between them and holds up a spoon for him.] It'd be a great welcome back present. And so far this week seems pretty quiet, doesn't it? We should go out and get some new shots.

Have you looked around the wings yet?

[She's happily ignoring that ok. But it's parfait-sharing and brainstorming time.]

Not yet! I've been pretty busy with meetings and stuff...wanna be my tour guide? You and Senri probably already went to look, right? I've heard about what they are though.

[bakaomi]

We only checked out the east wing together since I knew he'd want to stay there.

[ no offense to piety, but like... super elite hotel. ]

It's super fancy.

It's Ambition's. That doesn't surprise me at all...I miss fancy hotels though. he has good taste.

We could go look at the west wing together then if you want. Just to say that we did.

[bakaomi]

Mmhm. We can go after we finish.

[ the parfait, he means ]

[She just smiles brightly because that's a good promise. She'll start to dig in with her own spoon though.]

Awesome. [Parfait plz.] What else have you been up to this week? It feels like we haven't talked in a while.

[bakaomi]

Oh.

Sasuke kissed me and then told Senri he loves him.

[divus]

HE WHAT?

[SASUKE WHY!!!]

[bakaomi]

Right?! Like, what the hell? Right in front of my parfait!

[divus]

That's even worse!! [WHY!!] What the hell was he even thinking? The Love Arrow wasn't even for you! [She's burying her face in her hands...after taking a bite of the parfait.]

I hope he had some kind of explanation.

[bakaomi]

The kiss was because he kissed Senri, and he said he wanted us to be even.

[ he sounds

so exasperated ]

[There's something that sounds like "oh my god" muffled in her hands. Is that bad to say when she is a god? Who knows.]

Ugh. When I told him to be honest with his feelings that wasn't exactly what I meant! Also that's a stupid idea! You can't go around kissing people if you don't actually want to kiss them! [They can be exasperated together.]

[bakaomi]

I know... moron...

[ he takes a bite of the parfait. ]

But Senri knows now, I guess.

[divus]

Jeez...how'd he take it? How're you taking it?

[bakaomi]

... Senri freaked out. He feels guilty that he didn't notice Sasuke likes him.

[divus]

...liking people is really tricky. [Another spoonful of parfait.] It's like...sometimes you can't really even tell who's flirting and who genuinely likes someone, so hurt feelings are bound to happen.

[Case in point: Rise being able to see Yu flirting with everyone and not knowing what to make of that before they got together.]

I don't even know if Senri should feel bad. With Sasuke it's hard to really know what to expect from him in the first place. [Also Taka gets to learn that Rise just doesn't bother with honorifics for these people, that's fine.]

[bakaomi]

... I don't think he should. From what I could see, Senri was mostly treating him like he does our friends back home.

[ he taps his spoon against the the side of the cup. ]

He didn't even realize I liked him. He was so surprised when I confessed I was positive he was going to reject me.

...Senri and I are kinda alike, I think. People used to say things about me, too, when I was treating people mostly the same. [She hasn't forgotten that Chie definitely called her a dangerous girl when she thought she couldn't hear her.] It's not really anybody's fault, but if it's the same behavior for everyone...maybe he shouldn't.

[Hm...] Why would he reject you? You're a good choice. [Thanks, Rise.] I get that you guys weren't really close before you even got here but...what is it that you like about Senri anyway?

[bakaomi]

[ he takes another bite of the parfait before answering, mostly because he wants to. stall a bit. ]

... I didn't think he liked me when I confessed, so I didn't do it thinking we were going to date. I actually ran away after I told him, and he thinks it was because I was embarrassed. I just thought I ruined the friendship we made.

[ ... ]

Senri is... he tries really hard. He's so scared, and thinks so poorly of himself, but he still keeps trying. He reached out to me almost as soon as we got here to make a deal about working together. I wouldn't have done the same if he hadn't. [ because taka is an ass ] It... wasn't really until the second time I used All Nighter, and I saw those people drown. I hadn't been planning on telling him about it, but I ended up doing it anyway. And he had no idea how to react, it was so out of his league, but he just held me.

No one held me like that before.

[If she were a meaner person, she might tease him about that. But as it is, she just lets him talk and even stops eating to give him her full attention.

Taka...is very special, she thinks, and Senri himself is also a special kind of person. Is that how love always works? Two special people who don't think they're special at all finding each other? The story tracks as far as she's concerned, because Taka's someone who seems to always kind of struggle a little when it comes to actually opening up and expressing himself whereas Senri is so...much.

She's not really smiling or anything, but her eyes are soft as she watches him for a moment and he finishes his explanation.]

...a lot of people think love is just this easy, cutesy thing. But it's not. Love can be one of the scariest things a person ever has to face, and I think it takes a lot of guts to even own up to it. It's even more impressive to stay with someone during their hardest moments. [A pause.] But I think everyone wants that. And it's incredibly lucky that you and Senri were able to find it together even when both of you have faced so many challenges you aren't used to.
