[When Majima finds Indulgence, he's found a deserted part of the carnival where some kind of small concert is going on, and he's busting loose some sick moves. It's time...to dance!]
[ it's not hard to find the meeting place with all the noise floating around. majima ducks into the clearing and can't help but laugh a little when he sees what's waiting for him. ]

In any case, Indulgence leads him all the way to the pool, where with a wave of his hand, a glass staircase descends from a hidden hatch in the skylight and connects to the top of the water slide.]
he's really not sure what to expect, so it's with a genuine curiosity that he follows indulgence. his earlier excitement for the carnival attractions certainly isn't lost on the staircase he begins to ascend, letting out a low whistle at the view on the way up. ]
Damn. Fancy as hell, man. Where do ya even get the ideas for half of this shit ya come up with?

[When they reach the top of the stairs, they're standing on top of the glass skylight. Stretching out ahead of them is nothing but air and clouds once the edge of the room to the pool ends. It's beautiful, if disorienting.]
[ man, if it's disorienting to normal people, it's gonna fuck up a dude without depth perception. heights by themselves usually have no adverse effects on majima, but the seemingly limitless expanse before them gives him a quick rush of vertigo. if there's something like a banister nearby, he'll instinctively try to grab onto it for support...
otherwise i guess he's hanging onto indulgence for a couple of seconds before recovering. god. ]
Guess I can't say ya didn't warn me... still, goddamn.
[But, of course, it's not like he sleeps out here in midair, so while Majima grabs onto him for support (which would generally result in Indulgence absolutely recoiling from being TOUCHED in ANY FORM but it's fine he'll deal just this once, he turns them around so Majima can see what's in the other direction.
Fortunately, it's a beautifully gated in balcony. From the outside, not much can be seen aside from the iron rods and draping plants, but once Majima catches his balance he steers them toward it and swings open the doorway. Inside, it's a lounging paradise. The awning is covered in drapes and soft lights, fresh fruit and drink on a low table, and between an inviting, overstuffed couch and a soft woven hammock, there's more than enough room to chill. The far wall is made of stone, and another doorway leads inside from there.]
[ indulgence can suck it up for his #1 follower who just so happens to have a physical disability!! sheesh.
with the world now mostly back in focus, he continues to be blown away by his surroundings. he's confused for a bit as to the nature of this... room, if it can even be called that, but then he remembers conversations he's had with others... and is kinda just left dumbfounded. ]
This whole freakin' place is your room?
[ like. yeah. "indulgence." he gets it. even then... isn't this a little extra?! ]
[He's???? King of the World??? He can have whatever he wants.]
Please. This is just my balcony. You know, for when I feel like taking a nap, enjoying the fresh air.
[Indulgence opens the door in the stone and the chamber inside i much bigger, full of brightly colored tapestries and glittering with gold, pillows dotting almost every inch of the floor in a meticulously controlled mess.]
Usually I'd go for something a little more grand but, I figure for a six-week getaway I might as well at least try to be humble. Anyway, take a load off! Bathroom's down at the end, and music plays on command. Help yourself to refreshments. Oh, don't touch my crown.
[ he's still taken aback, and it's only his desire to get as drunk as possible to forget about all of this that he's able to somehow stumble his way over to the bar.
it doesn't matter what the drink he grabs is, as he instantly turns whatever's inside to extremely concentrated vodka. he pops the top and drinks straight from the bottle, chugging until he's drained the entire thing and sputtering a storm once he's done.
letting the bottle drop to the ground with a clink that probably reverberates throughout the giant room like a gunshot, he turns back to indulgence, pale-faced. ]
[And what better way to answer than, with a flourish, to rid himself of mask and gown, leaving him in a similar colored, but much more comfortable looking outfit.]
The name's Kuzco: Emperor Kuzco. And when I say I'm at the top of the food chain, I'm not exaggerating.
[ after kuzco announces himself, majima drops to the ground and bows. it doesn't matter what he actually thinks of his god, his attitude, his extravagance—he knows what it means for a god to reveal themself to a participant. ]
Whoa, whoa, whoa! That's one hell of a greeting. You really know how to make a guy feel welcome. But hey, that's enough of that, come on--up, up, up!
[Of course, for all his show and protesting, he has to admit he likes being bowed to. Especially when the guy bowing to him could very easily bench press like two of him. Kuzco claps his hands, rubbing them together.]
Now that that's outta the way, we can get this party started. Tonight you've got one objective and one objective only: some well deserved R&R. The bounty's not going anywhere, so have your fill and then some!
